Book Nook ✦
Objective: Design, Document, and Fabricate a small Luminous Object, while exploring the relationship between Narrative, Form, Materiality, and Value— from concept to fabrication.
Material & Sustainability | Fabrication
My luminous object was inspired by a book nook, which traditionally is a miniature room that is nestled between books. My goal was to create a shadow box-like book nook. I chose to design it after the book cover of my main web novel, Heaven’s Gift to You. The object was designed to be placed on my desk, right beside my books to provide decorative light.
